House Chelsted

General Information

The only member of the house to have been mentioned was Lord Chelsted, who was the next-to-last Hand of King Aerys Targaryen. He was burned to death after displeasing the Mad King.

Spoilers

Lord Chelsted discovered King Aerys’s plans to destroy King’s Landing rather than to capitulate and made a brave effort to dissuade the king. When Aerys remained adamant Chelsted threw down his chain of office, which led to his execution.
