Lord Kaeron’s grandfather, Lord Enfren, won renown as the strong right hand of Lord Velaryon when he smashed the Free Cities fleet at the Stepstones. Commanding a squadron of ships, he shattered the ships of Tyrosh at Bloodstone after trapping them in a bay, leading to such a total defeat that afterward he would be known as the Dragon’s Hammer and would be a more feared name in Tyrosh than Velaryon himself. He would go on to wed a Lannister.
