House Crane of Red Lake

General Information

Having had some prominence in the reign of King Viserys I, the Cranes have not managed to continue the trajectory of those days, and the confusion and troubles of the Dance of the Dragons were harmful to every house in the land, the Cranes includes.

Most recently the house has been recovering from the human loses during the Conquest of Dorne. While Lord Mathis upholds ties with the Tyrells of Highgarden, his son and heir ser Albyn has been send to King’s Landing where he, as representative of his father, has gained a simple but promising position as retainer to the Hand. With a certain influence to their disposal from previous actions, the tandem Mathis and Albyn Crane may show more ambitious than expected in the near future.
