This is a very brief guide to how to use the Profiles wiki. The wiki software is not the MediaWiki commonly used, so there are some differences. The main one is that you will need to use standard xhtml tags to format your entries. However, by looking at other entries it should be easy enough to see what tags should be used. The most common will also be listed in this guide.
The easiest way to add a new entry is to go to http://www.westeros.org/BoD/Profiles/ and then add the name of the person or group you are adding to the URL. For example, http://www.westeros.org/BoD/Profiles/Daeron_Targaryen/. Then you load that page, and if it has not been created yet, you will be told to click the edit link to create the page. You will of course need to have an account and be logged in to it see the edit link; the index for the Profiles wiki explains how to get that setup.
Once you have started the editing process for a new entry, paste in one of the following templates as a starting point:
