All players and Staff who create anything for public use on the game (e.g., building, code, and texts such as descriptions, tutorials or newsfiles) retain copyright of these creations but give the Admin a non-revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license for unlimited use of said creations. In the case of contributions that are intrinsically related to the theme and setting, the Admin are granted a non-revocable, non-transferable and exclusive license to make unlimited use of them.
Therefore, if someone leaves the game, they do not have a right to have their public contributions removed from the game or the webpages associated with the game.
Unsolicited private code and building that has never been provided for general use on the game, as well as private character webpages, may be removed as the owner pleases, but it may not be reused on another game unless any and all references to the A Song of Ice and Fire and Blood of Dragons MUSH settings are removed. A character concept, for example, cannot be reused unless it is stripped of all such references. Players may also not claim copyright of anything that is based on the A Song of Ice and Fire theme.
Finally, a non-revocable license to use all characters created for the game is also granted to the Admin. Thus, if you leave, you cannot ask to have your character removed. Once a character has been entered into the CDB (see +HELP +CDB) it (and all information entered regarding it) will remain there even if the player who created it leaves and in most cases it will be made available for other players to apply for. This license is exclusive as far as any A Song of Ice and Fire and Blood of Dragons MUSH specific elements of the character are concerned, but non-exclusive for other elements of the character.
