I have reduced the multiplier determining how easy it is to successfully pick up a rumor, from 4 times how widespread the rumor is to 2 times. After looking at the results, it currently seems like everyone eventually picks up every single rumor on their own, and that seems to mean it’s a bit too easy. We’ll see how the new multiplier works.
