Month 12
Day 1-2: Lord Whalon, the Jousting Lord, hosts a tourney at his castle as is his wont. In the course of it, Ser Garett Buckwell is killed when the lance of his opponent, Ser Galfried Velaryon, breaks off at the crown and the jagged shaft pierces his throat. The five final champions include Velaryon, Ser Jarmyn Storm, Balian Blackwood, Ser Euston Mooton, and Lord Rosby himself. In the end, Balian Blackwood unhorses Ser Jarmyn, the Bastard of Mistwood, to win the champion’s purse.
