The year 150 AC marked changes in religious, stormlander, and household fortunes. Elwood Hunter took vows in the Royal Sept, Arson Rogers’s legitimization placed Endron Rogers in the Amberly succession, and a fire at Bronzegate killed members of House Buckler’s household.
Day 9: Elwood Hunter took vows in the Royal Sept and became Septon Elwood Hunter.
Day 10: Arson Storm was legitimized as Ser Arson Rogers on his father’s deathbed and became Lord of Amberly. His son Endron Rogers thereby became heir to Amberly.
Day 13: Endron Rogers won a squire’s tourney at Storm’s End and was knighted by his father, Lord Arson Rogers, three days after Arson’s legitimization and accession to Amberly.
Day 30: Fire broke out in the Buckler seat of Bronzegate. Among the dead was Amaena Velaryon, leaving a wound in House Buckler’s household and marking the childhood of her surviving children.
Day 25: Threatened with being sent to the Citadel, the sept, or the Wall, Luthor Rivers persuaded Lord Joseth Smallwood to arm him and hire the hedge knight Ser Robert Ashford as his master. He left Acorn Hall for the hedges, beginning the path that would bring him into wider service.
